Context

The integration of a vehicle into the digital ecosystem gains more and more importance. Thus, customers expect to continuously adapt and enhance vehicle functions over the cars lifecycle. Therefore the requirements posed towards the development and operation of a vehicle change.

In the course of this thesis a process model should be developed mapping these dynamic and flexible advancements during the lifecycle. The necessary data structures as well as regulatory demands and technical requirements are in the focus of that work.

The thesis will be related to the publicly sponsored project SofDCar. The consortium cooperating in this project consists of automotive companies and research organizations such as Mercedes Benz, Bosch, ETAS and ZF as well as the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and the FZI Research Center for Information Technology amongst others.

The thesis is announced by the FZI office in Berlin, it is therefore possible to work in Berlin or in Karlsruhe. Temporary stays in either location are also possible.
