Further development and supervision of the robotics logistics internship Seamless Engineering

Background

The course Seamless Engineering aims to provide students with knowledge of robotics hardware (gripper robots, AGVs) as well as the associated software tools (Robot Operating System) based on a practical logistics problem. For this course we are looking for motivated students who will support us in further development and supervision.

The task includes the following topics in an extent of 35h/month:

  • Familiarization with existing software stack
  • Development of Python code for ROS to control the robotics hardware
  • Computer vision in OpenCV
  • Supervision of course in WS 23/24
  • Practical work on modern industrial robotics hardware

Requirements

  • High self-motivation, programming knowledge in Python, ROS knowledge advantageous
  • 30 - 40 h per month, start immediately
