Linking Logical Architecture to Scenario Parameters through Mutation-Based Simulation Analysis

<Text wird generiert, bitte warten...>
Context

In scenario-based testing, especially within complex systems like automotive applications, simulations rely on numerous parameters to define test scenarios. However, when changes occur in the system's logical architecture, it's challenging to determine which scenario parameters are affected, often leading to the need for extensive re-sampling. This thesis aims to establish a methodology that connects elements of the logical architecture to specific scenario parameters. By introducing mutation-based errors into simulations and observing the resulting impacts, we seek to identify and map these dependencies, enabling more efficient and targeted

Targets
  • Develop a method to introduce controlled mutations into system simulations.
  • Analyze the effects of these mutations on scenario parameters to identify dependencies.
  • Create a mapping between logical architecture components and affected scenario parameters.
Requirements
  • Programming skills (e.g., Python + Simulink) are needed
