The Group

The Microsystems Technologies and Optics group covers a broad area of research topics in the fields of sensors, bio-medical systems, industrial Instrumentation and telemetry.
The group is working in several coorporated research projects and indutrial development projects in close collaboration with industry partner as well as research partners like the Forschungszentrum Informatik (FZI). The extensivly equiped Mixed Signal Laboratory of the Institue is the basis for research and industrial contract developmen. examples are validation an certification of optical systems.
Within this scope the group is present at many undustrial trade shows and congresses.
