Context

We, corvolution GmbH, are an innovative eHealth startup based in Ettlingen. Together as a team, we are working on the mission of sustainably reducing the incidence of diabetes, strokes, heart attacks and depression. Our sensor-based health check mesana provides recommendations for a healthy lifestyle, because good and early health decisions can eliminate up to 90% of all cardiovascular diseases in old age!

The check-up consists of a health questionnaire and a 48-hour vital data measurement with the mesana sensor, which records ECG, respiration and physical activity, among other things, as the basis for our analysis algorithms. To support our development department, we are now looking for HiWis for the Electronics Development Medical Wearables department.

Tasks

• Support for our team in the development of electronic hardware for medical technology applications
• Design and layout of printed circuit boards (PCB) for ECG and SKG sensors
• Further development and optimization of existing circuits and assemblies
• Planning and carrying out trials, tests and measurement series on prototypes
• Evaluation and documentation of measurement and test data

Prerequisites

• Enrolled student in electrical engineering, medical technology or a comparable course of study
• Interest in medical technology and the development of electronic hardware
• Ideally you have some experience in PCB design (e.g. with Altium, KiCad, Eagle or similar)
• A desire for practical development work and to try and test things out
• Curious, motivated, independent and willing to learn
