Internship Information Technology
By participating in the Information Technology Project Practicum, students should be able to break down complex problems into simple and clear modules and then develop suitable algorithms and data structures. During the conversion into a structured and executable source code, in compliance with specified quality criteria, the writing of complex C/C++ code sections and the handling of an integrated development environment shall be practiced. The resulting code is to be executable on a microcontroller, whereby knowledge of hardware-related programming is to be learned. During the internship, the overall project must be divided into sub-projects, which strengthens the team-oriented independent work of the group participants and allows the project to be freely designed.
The information technology internship provides students with the necessary components to build a mini-tivseg. This enables the students to try out the program code they have created directly on the hardware.
In this way, in-depth knowledge of hardware-related programming is imparted using the C/C++ programming language. The project is worked on in small project teams, which break down the project into individual tasks and work on them independently. Knowledge from lectures and exercises in information technology is taken up again and applied to concrete problems. At the end of the project internship, each project team is to demonstrate the successful completion by presenting a functioning mini-tivseg.
