Zusammenfassung der Dissertation

Wir gratulieren Daniel Grimm herzlich zur erfolgreichen Verteidigung seiner Dissertation. Die Arbeit wurde mit der Bestnote 1,0 mit Auszeichnung bewertet.

Daniel Grimm war als Doktorand in der Forschungsgruppe von Prof. Dr.-Ing. Eric Sax tätig. Seine Forschungsinteressen liegen insbesondere in den Bereichen Cyber-Security für Fahrzeuge, Maschinelles Lernen und Automotive Software-Architekturen.

In seiner Dissertation zeigt Daniel Grimm, dass Cybersicherheit bei vernetzten Fahrzeugen nicht mit der Markteinführung endet. Sein Ansatz verbindet eine risikoorientierte Überwachung, einen Knowledge Graph im Vehicle Security Operations Center und Over-the-air-Reaktionsmechanismen zu einer Grundlage für Cybersicherheit über den gesamten Fahrzeuglebenszyklus. Der Knowledge Graph verknüpft Fahrzeugdaten mit Betriebskontext, bekannten Risiken und Vorfällen und ermöglicht Analysten eine schnelle Einschätzung der Bedrohungslage. Over-the-air-Mechanismen zur unmittelbaren Eingrenzung sicherheitskritischer Bedrohungen ergänzen die ganzheitliche Überwachung zielgerichtet. Die Risikoanalyse und technische Umsetzung eines Fallbeispiels in Anlehnung an ISO/SAE 21434 demonstrieren die Realisierbarkeit und verdeutlichen die Potenziale des Ansatzes für die Cybersicherheit zukünftiger Fahrzeuge.
