Forschung

  • Design, Testen und Management von Over The Air (OTA) Softwareupdates für vernetzte Fahrzeuge
    Die Einführung der OTA-Technologie in der Automobilindustrie bringt viele Vorteile sowohl für den Erstausrüster (OEM) als auch für den Fahrzeugbesitzer. Die Wartungskosten der Software im Fahrzeug reduzieren sich dadurch erheblich und die Updateprozesse werden bequemer und schneller durchgeführt. Außerdem ist OTA ein wichtiger Teil des „Internets der Dinge“ und eine Kerneigenschaft für die Realisierung zukünftiger autonomer Fahrfunktionen. Allerdings bringt die Einführung der OTA-Technologie mehrere Herausforderungen: Zusätzlich zu den naheliegenden Security-Risiken erfordert die zunehmende Komplexität der Elektrik/Elektronik-Architektur, mit bis zu über hundert vernetzten Steuergeräten, neue Methoden für das Testen und das Management der zu aktualisierenden Softwarekomponenten in Verbindung mit der enormen Anzahl an Varianten und Konfigurationen im Feld.

  • Methoden für die modellbasierte Entwicklung aktualisierbarer Elektrik/Elektronik-Architekturen
    Für den Entwurf und die Verifikation von OTA-Updates werden rechnergestützte Methoden wie modellbasierte Entwicklung, Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) und virtuelles Testen von eingebetteten Systemen erforscht und bezüglich ihrer Effizienz und Performanz bewertet. Dabei liegt der Fokus auf die Gewährleistung der funktionalen Sicherheit des Systems (vgl. ISO 26262, SOTIF) nach jeder durchgeführten Funktionsaktualisierung. Als Anwendungsfall werden Updates von Fahrassistenzsystemen des automatisierten Fahrens betrachtet. Für die Implementierung werden verschiedene Werkzeuge aus dem Stand der Technik und Wissenschaft verwendet, und wenn erforderlich, kombiniert oder erweitert.
