Development and implementation of an adaptive camera-based measurement system in the field of image processing
Environment
Nowadays, image processing takes place with regard to adaptive systems or artificial intelligence is being used more and more. Through image processing it is possible, among other things, to recognize known structures and patterns in an image or to search for them specifically.
At ITIV, an adaptive system in the field of image processing is to be developed. A camera is used to capture the images to be analyzed. The desired objects are then selected and segmented from the image. The system should be able to adapt the necessary image processing parameters as well as the camera parameters as independently as possible to the prevailing environmental and boundary conditions.
