Summary of the dissertation
New drive technologies, digitalization and automation are shaping modern vehicles and increasing the proportion of electrics/electronics (E/E) and software. The efficient management of variants is becoming a key challenge, particularly in the case of buses, which are produced in small quantities with a high level of product diversity and individual customer requirements. The aim of the work is to develop a consistent concept for E/E development, which records the variants from the initial idea to series production and describes them on a model basis. This supports the definition of variants and the derivation of releases and increases efficiency in the development process.
