Summary of the Dissertation

In his research, Marvin Feil investigated the optical design of spherically curved waveguides for augmented reality (AR) glasses. The target was to use the curved design to create lighter and more aesthetically pleasing AR glasses. Another focus was on the automated production of flat waveguide displays using robotic arms. The work was conducted in Prof. Wilhelm Stork’s research group in collaboration with Bosch Corporate Research.  

The dissertation’s outstanding quality was recognized by the doctoral committee, which awarded it the highest grade of “summa cum laude.” Congratulations!
