Successful project completion: ITIV at the final review of the MANNHEIM-CeCaS project

At the final review on November 6, 2025, the project partners presented the results of three years of research in the MANNHEIM-CeCaS project to the project sponsor at Infineon in Neubiberg and carried out the final evaluation. Together with the FZI Research Center for Information Technology, ITIV was extensively involved as a project partner and is using the knowledge gained to provide new impetus for safe and networked mobility.
CeCaS - a project with far-reaching implications
The MANNHEIM-CeCaS project is the largest project of the MANNHEIM funding initiative and has provided decisive impetus for the development of safe and networked systems in recent years. The final presentation underlines the importance of the project for industry and research.
Highlights of the event
Around 50 participants, including representatives of all consortium partners and reviewers from the project sponsor, took part in the one-day event. A welcome address by the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR) was followed by specialist presentations on the most important results in the morning. In addition to the project management from Infineon and contributions from Bosch and other partners, Prof. Jürgen Becker, the scientific coordinator, presented key findings.
A particular highlight was the presentation of the vehicle demonstrator, which is based on a CARIAD platform. This demonstrator illustrates the practical implementation of the research results and was met with great interest by the participants.
Atmosphere and conclusion
The event in the "Kubus" on the Infineon campus was characterized by a constructive and positive atmosphere. Everyone involved was satisfied and proud of the results achieved. The final review confirms: the project was a complete success and creates an excellent basis for innovative project initiatives and valuable academic-industrial cooperation in the field of secure and networked systems.
