Context

Scaling digital health apps requires a multi-layered approach that includes stakeholder collaboration, regulatory compliance, integration with existing health systems, customization, personalization, as well as continuous evaluation and improvement. By implementing these strategies, business models for digital health apps can be successfully established, thereby scaling them to have a significant impact on improving healthcare outcomes. In this context, we are looking for suitable candidates to collaborate on the translational interface to design and develop strategies and business models for our web- and mobile-based digital prevention platform.

Tasks

As part of your bachelor thesis, you will be responsible for the design and development of selected aspects. Concepts must be developed and evaluated in collaboration with experts, potential customers, and all relevant stakeholders for medical device manufacturers within the German healthcare system. We need support in the following areas, where people can contribute according to their strengths:

  • You work with a team of experts to develop strategic concepts (business models, marketing strategy etc.) and their implementation.
  • You conduct expert interviews, user surveys, or user testing to evaluate the effectiveness of the concepts.
  • You document the results according to good scientific practice.

Requirements

  • Independent thinking and working.
  • Good knowledge of German or English.
  • High level of self-motivation and commitment.
  • Basic knowledge of methods and tools to develop these artifacts or interest in learning these.
  • Interest in business development especially in the digital health domain.
  • Own creative and innovative approaches within the project.
  • Familiarity with survey methods and tools like limesurvey, google forms, etc..
  • Interest in multi-domain collaborations with experts from healthcare, engineering, and science.
  • Ability and desire to work in a team-oriented manner.
