DeePloy Workshop: Partners Test AI Toolchain with Their Own Models

Interactive demonstrations and professional exchanges strengthen collaboration within the DEEP project

Together with our partners in the DEEP research project, we held a workshop at ITIV to present the DeePloy toolchain. The team of doctoral students supervised by Prof. Jürgen Becker presented key features of the toolchain and facilitated interactive demonstrations with the project partners. The target of the course was to demonstrate the toolchain’s capabilities in a practical setting and to foster professional exchange among the participating institutions.

Representatives from KIT, the University of Freiburg, the Technical University of Hamburg, the University of Bonn, and the technology company sima.ai participated in the workshop.

The program began with an introduction and an overview of the DeePloy toolchain’s functions. Afterward, participants were able to try out the tools for themselves in an interactive demonstration session. The “Bring Your Own Model” format drew particular interest, as participants tested their own AI models using the toolchain and gained practical experience.

In addition, opportunities for collaboration with sima.ai were discussed. The workshop thus provided not only a platform for technical demonstrations but also for professional exchange and the further development of joint research activities within the project.

Feedback from participants was consistently positive. In particular, the hands-on demonstrations and the opportunity to bring their own models were highly appreciated.
