ITIV Alumni Day 2026: Reunions, Networking, and Exciting Career Paths

The ITIV family gathered to catch up and share memories.

On June 19, 2026, the ITIV welcomed numerous alumni and staff members to Alumni Day 2026 at KIT.

Following opening remarks by Prof. Eric Sax, Prof. Jürgen Becker gave a presentation titled “Quo vadis ITIV?” in which he provided an overview of the institute’s development, current challenges, and future prospects.

Afterward, three alumni shared their career paths following their time at ITIV: Dr. Mahtab Niknahad Sander (Robert Bosch GmbH), Marc Weber (Vector Informatik), as well as Dr. Natalie Röll and Dr. Sebastian Chiriac (easierLife), provided insights into their career paths and the development of their companies and fields of work.

To conclude, Prof. Wilhelm Stork, who has shaped the institute over many years, addressed the guests with a few personal remarks. He announced that another Alumni Day would be held in two years.

During the buffet that followed, discussions continued and memories were shared well into the evening. Many former colleagues took the opportunity to rekindle long-standing connections and forge new ones within the ITIV network.

The ITIV would like to thank all guests, speakers, and contributors for a successful day and looks forward to seeing everyone again at the next alumni gathering.

To commemorate the Alumni Day, we’ve compiled a selection of the best photos in a photo gallery.
