Prof. Dr.-Ing. Eric Sax, Head of the ITIV Institute at KIT, took part in the practical "Brain Surgeon for 1 Day" program at the Karlsruhe Municipal Hospital (SKK) together with a medical technology student - a unique opportunity to promote interdisciplinary exchange between medicine and engineering sciences.

This initiative strengthens the cooperation between the KIT, in particular the ETIT faculty, and the SKK in the areas of teaching and research. The aim is to further deepen the understanding of the central role of technical innovations in medicine.

We are very much looking forward to further cooperation with the clinic management under Prof. Holderied and in close coordination with Prof. Spetzger.
