Visit from Korea University Sejong Visit: ITIV and ICM strengthen international cooperation
At the beginning of November, Moritz Zink, Ann-Therese Nägele and Korbinian Rudolf from Prof. Eric Sax's team visited Sejong University in Korea together with a delegation from the InnovationCampus Mobility of the Future, a cooperation between KIT and the University of Stuttgart.
As part of the junior researchers, the ITIV team was there to explore potential points of contact for future cooperation.
The aim of the trip was to deepen bilateral relations, explore funding opportunities and develop joint project approaches in the field of future mobility (automated driving, V2X, testing & validation).
The trip was organized by Catherine Baumann, Project Manager Future Mobility Grants at ICM, and followed on from the initial contact made by Prof. Eric Sax in Korea, followed by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Germany.
In Sejong, talks were held with the Faculty of Future Mobility and representatives of the city of Sejong to identify specific points of cooperation. The students showed great interest in exchange programs with Germany.
This trip strengthens KIT's international visibility and lays the foundation for future joint research projects.
