Doctoral retreat in Rastatt - research meets community!

New perspectives, strong connections and a touch of baroque.

A week full of inspiration, exchange and new impulses lies behind us! Together with our doctoral students from Prof. Dr.-Ing. Eric Sax's team, we experienced an intensive and enriching retreat in Rastatt.

Exciting presentations and interactive workshops not only imparted knowledge, but also created space for discussions and new ideas. Particularly valuable: the personal exchange between the young scientists and their doctoral supervisor as well as the opportunity to network with each other.

In addition to the scientific work, the program also included excursions - to the Rastatt fire department, the Aueninstitut and a guided tour of the baroque Rastatt Castle. This allowed us to broaden our horizons not only professionally, but also culturally.

The necessary fun was provided by a joint cinema evening and an entertaining pub quiz, where team spirit and humor were required.

Another highlight was the visit from Mayor Raphael Knoth and his colleague Ms. Wurz, where the focus was on exchanging ideas for the upcoming State Garden Show.

To sum up: the doctoral student retreat was not only a place of learning, but also of togetherness. We are already looking forward to the next round!

Impressions that shows: We are more than a Team!
