Student Assistant for Student Innovation Lab (SIL)

Background:

Our institute (ITIV), in cooperation with IHE, IRS and EnTechnon, provides a new, innovative laboratory course: student innovation lab. The focus of the lab is to give students the opportunity to implement new innovations in the field of IoT, automotive or medical technology etc. For this, the students can use the modern infrastructure of our lab (e.g. robots, HoloLens, 3D printer, smartphones/watches, sensors/actors) to realize their novel concepts. We are now looking for engaged students who want to participate as student assistants (m/f).

Tasks may include:

• support the student groups as technical tutor
• set up attractive demos from scratch
• Lab maintenance

Required skills:

• High motivation to learn new technologies
• Optional, but are a plus
  • Experience in programming (C#, Python, C++, …)
  • Experience in mechanical engineering
  • Experience in electrical engineering
  • Skills in machine learning
